For Your Safety…

  • There is a single designated visitor entrance at the Hyman Avenue side of the facility and a single exit on Spring Street to ensure efficient and safe access & traffic flow throughout your museum experience.

  • Acrylic panels are installed in front of the reception desk and SO Café cash register.

  • High-touch building surfaces—railings, gallery & facility doors, elevator control panels, restroom facilities, counters, and changing stations—are cleaned and disinfected daily.

  • Our HVAC system pulls in outside air at the rate of 6,000–9,000 CFM—we do not recycle interior air.

  • Food and drink are not permitted in the museum. Water and container-based beverages are available for purchase at SO Café on museum Level 3. We recommend visitors use credit/debit cards for on-site purchases.
