In 2000, Odd Klev cofounded the international architecture office a-lab in Oslo, Norway. Since its inception, a-lab has been recognized for their sustainable and innovative range of projects from residential projects to cultural centers and museums to complex urban master plans. Klev will discuss the close relationship between architecture and art, particularly the projects in which the firm has utilized art as part of the conceptualization phase or final display.

The AAM’s Architecture Lecture Series brings world-renowned architects to Aspen to discuss the role of public architecture in our society and how its form, style, and purpose impact our engineered landscapes. As a series of free public presentations, the ALS sparks dialogue about the role of architecture in our community and beyond.

AAM education programs are made possible by the Questrom Education Fund.
