Ready or not, here we come! In this tactile Workshop, we will cut, sew, and assemble colorful animal masks and costumes with an array of soft materials and found objects. Making unique disguises will only be half the fun. We’ll celebrate with a performance in costume for our friends and family at the end of the week.
This advanced workshop for teens will cultivate a personal sense of style and brand- and client-responsive design. Throughout the week, we will move independently through all steps of the design process to create a wearable work of art for the 6–8 year old participants in the “Let’s Move” Workshop and performance. Prior experience with a sewing machine encouraged.
