Wade Guyton Peter Fischli David Weiss

Jun 22-Nov 26
The Aspen Art Museum’s exhibition Wade Guyton Peter Fischli David Weiss is a collaborative between American artist Wade Guyton (b. 1972) and Swiss artists Peter Fischli (b. 1952) and David Weiss (1946–2012)—known during their thirty-three-year collaboration as Fischli and Weiss. Encompassing all six galleries as well as the Commons, Roof Deck Sculpture Garden, and other previously non-art presentation defined spaces, Wade Guyton Peter Fischli David Weiss proposes to explore how our perception of space affects our understanding of objects and images, thereby potentially transforming the seemingly ordinary into the gloriously extraordinary.
AAM exhibitions are made possible by the Marx Exhibition Fund. General exhibition support is provided by the Toby Devan Lewis Visiting Artist Fund. Major support for Wade Guyton Peter Fischli David Weiss is provided by the AAM National Council, Stefan Edlis and Gael Neeson, and Gabriela and Ramiro Garza. Additional support is provided by Gayle and Paul Stoffel.
