    • Discover the power of drawing to transform ordinary blank pages into incredible works of art. We will respond to creative challenges in the galleries, studio, and outdoors that hone our large-scale drawing skills. Throughout the week, we will explore techniques of shadowing, perspective, and contouring inspired by larger-than-life artworks and artists.

    • Create larger-than-life works in this playful mixed media Workshop focusing on proportion and scale. We’ll work together to design sizable works in bold colors and patterns that will make a big impact and stretch our perceptions of what art can be.

    • Roll up your sleeves for pinching, twisting, carving, and squishing clay! Working individually and collaboratively over the course of this two-week Workshop, we’ll plan and problem-solve to create a variety of functional and decorative sculptures to be used at an outlandish tea party for family and friends at the end of the session.

    • Discover the wonders of summer in this painting Workshop designed for the curious young artist. Through guided exploration, we will uncover the flora and fauna at the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies' Hallam Lake nature preserve, using our brushes and paints to capture a series of unique summer scenes on canvas.
