As part of our upcoming Youth Art Expo, we are offering one puppet workshop per month. For this month’s workshop, students will be making shadow puppets. We will use a combination of materials and objects to create unique and dynamic characters.

Join us for a public talk on Buddhism and the Ego with an extended Q & A with Trungram Gyalwa Rinpoche, the head of the Trungram lineage and one of the highest tulkus of the Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. This meditation will touch on themes related to Sanya Kantarovsky’s exhibition A Solid House.
The talk will take place on the rooftop of the Aspen Art Museum and is FREE and open to the public.

Join us for a new program in partnership with the Pitkin County Library! Preschool-aged children accompanied by an adult are invited to participate in storytime with a paired art project led by children’s librarian Noelle Edwards and Aspen Art Museum educator Courtney!
This event will take place in the Dunaway Community Meeting Room and each session is limited to 10 participants.
