Interview Magazine was founded by Andy Warhol and John Wilcock in 1969. The covers were designed by Warhol with iconic images of celebrities, artists, musicians, and creative thinkers. Join us at the Museum’s version of Warhol’s Factory to create your very own celebrity cover.

Part of Andy Warhol’s intriguing persona was his penchant for wigs. Join us at the museum in our version of Warhol’s Factory to create a lavish paper wig to amplify your persona.

Join the 2021 Aspen Art Museum Artist Fellows in celebration of the culmination of their fellowship program. Fellows will share their creative process and fellowship experience with individual artist presentations. Refreshments to follow.

In the 1950s, Andy Warhol would throw coloring parties at his favorite Upper East Side ice cream shop, Serendipity 3. Friends and strangers alike would mix and mingle and help Andy add color to his illustrations. Join us for a collective coloring party in this same collaborative spirit at The Factory.

Join us on the AAM Rooftop from 3–5 PM for an Infinite abyss of entangled love cookie and a mug of Love bug kiss hot cocoa, special winter recipes prepared by artist Precious Okoyomon. A festive drawing activity for all ages will also be provided.

Throughout Warhol’s career, he wrote and illustrated (with the help of his mother) a number of books and coloring books for kids that explored topics like bugs and the concept of “so.” Create a drawing based on printing techniques Warhol used to create illustrations for his books.

All attendees are welcome for a complimentary tour throughout the week during regular Aspen Art Museum Business Hours.
In partnership with the Aspen Art Museum and Aspen Gay Ski Week, JPMorgan Chase is proud to host a special viewing and guided tour of the Andy Warhol: Lifetimes exhibition. Invited guests will be guided through the collection have the opportunity to bid on a special auction item in support of AspenOut. Guests will also enjoy a hosted bar, hors d’oeuvres, and networking.
