Taking inspiration from Chris Ofili’s exhibition Night and Day, nail artists from Vanity Projects will host a pop-up manicure salon at the museum from 2-6 p.m. Guests can choose from designs created especially for the Aspen Art Museum in response to Ofili’s work.
Enter the magical realms of myths and adventures found in Chris Ofili’s paintings. We’ll interpret myths and see how our perspective changes through experiencing art. Kids will bring poems to life on canvas through vivid forms of watercolor and acrylic painting, developing their very own style of expression.
