Aspen Art Museum

Join Carbondale-based musicians Lizzy Plotkin and Natalie Spears for an evening of bluegrass and old-timey sounds inspired by the work of Margaret Kilgallen, who herself was inspired by female banjo player Matokie Slaughter. The exhibition catalogue for that’s where the beauty is., and other Kilgallen-related materials will be available during the event. Additional funding in 2018–19 is provided by the Laffey-McHugh Foundation.
