This spring, the AAM and Aspen Film present the film program “Before and After Desire,” inspired by the exhibition of Nate Lowman’s work at the AAM. Exploring the quests and consequences of longing through a cinematic lens, these films span the timeframe of the works surveyed in the exhibition as well as our deepest desires to connect with our surroundings.
