Maurizio Cattelan: Aspen Art Museum Scarf

$65.00

Designed by legendary Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan, known for his cheeky gestures, this extra-long, fringed acrylic scarf mimics the traditional look of European sports fan scarves. The front is woven with “Aspen Art Museum” and the year of our founding (1979) and a vibrantly striped back reads “Collect Ideas”—the art world equivalent of a team chant. Limited edition of 100.

The artist’s Museum League collection, produced in collaboration with Italian design brand Seletti, also includes such iconic art institutions as the Guggenheim, MoMA, and the Hamburger Bahnhof. Playing to the passions and allegiances of art enthusiasts worldwide, Cattelan consciously designed these scarves to remind us of art’s accessibility. In his words, “everyone can be a collector.”
