Aspen Art Museum


December 26–30, 9 AM–1 PM

This winter break, the museum offers a week of concurrent workshops for 4–5 year olds and 6–10 year olds to take inspiration from artists whose work is on view at the museum. Each day tackles a new creative challenge, winter activities, and a chance to play through art making. Lunch will be provided, and participants may sign up for the entire week or choose à la carte from the program below.

Monday, December 26:
Artist focus: Gary Hume
Creative challenge: Build your own art snowman

Tuesday, December 27:
Artist focus: Ceal Floyer
Creative challenge: Poetry and punch lines

Wednesday, December 28:
Artist focus: Julian Schnabel
Creative challenge: Mosaic magic

Thursday, December 29:
Artist focus: Mary Ramsden
Creative challenge: Gestures and technology

Friday, December 30:
Artist focus: Danh Võ
Creative challenge: Freedom piece

Prior registration is strongly encouraged.

Members: $28 per class
Nonmembers: $30 per class
