Beginning on Friday, January 21, 2022, the Aspen Art Museum will offer private 30-minute tours for groups with advanced reservations. Tours are offered on Fridays only from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Register for a time slot on the calendar page of our website.

Exhibition Overview Tour
Get a quick introduction to the unique world of Andy Warhol. This tour traces Warhol’s life from his modest upbringing to his start as a commercial artist in New York and his rise as a glamorous art superstar.
Join a museum educator for a fun and informal tour focused on one or two works of art in the exhibition. Spotlight Tours invite the viewer to appreciate artwork by slowing down, sparking further curiosity and conversation.
Learn the story behind the creation of the Aspen Art Museum building, designed by renowned architect Shigeru Ban. This tour focuses on the five prominent architectural features of the building and includes background on the architect and his humanitarian practice.

What is the minimum number of people?
A group of 4 or more people lends itself to a lively discussion.
How many people maximum?
In order to provide you with a great experience, we ask that you limit your group size to 10 people.
May I walk in with my group and request a tour?
No, you must pre-register 2 weeks prior to your requested tour date.
May I join a tour that is already in progress?
No, for the safety and comfort of all visitors, we ask that you sign up for your own time slot.
Is there a cost?
No, all tours are free.
Is there a cancellation fee?
No, but if you need to cancel your tour, please kindly give our staff 24-hour notice.
Where should I meet my tour guide?
Tours begin in The Factory located on the Street Level of the museum.
Can I bring my kids?
Yes, please make a note on the registration form, and we will modify the tour based on the ages of the participants.
Do you make accommodations for people with disabilities?
Yes, please make a note on the registration form, and we will accommodate to the best of our ability. Service Animals are welcome.
