Save the date for the Aspen Art Museum’s annual ArtCrush summer gala, the culminating event of Aspen ArtWeek which will celebrate three visionaries in their fields: architect Shigeru Ban, artist Jacqueline Humphries, and composer and artist Jason Moran.

Featuring a live auction, drinks, dinner, music, and dancing, the ArtCrush summer gala is one of the most anticipated events of the summer in Aspen. Coinciding with the Museum’s 45th anniversary and the 10th anniversary of its current Shigeru Ban–designed building, the 2024 ArtCrush gala will mark the first time that multiple leaders working across creative disciplines will receive the Aspen Award for Art.

For additional information on the ArtWeek schedule, ArtCrush tickets, underwriting opportunities, or sponsorship inquiries, please contact artweek@aspenartmuseum.org.

ArtCrush Auction

The museum’s auction partner, Christie’s, will be conducting two auctions—the first taking place live during the ArtCrush gala, led by Adrien Meyer, Global Head of Private Sales and Co-Chairman of Impressionist & Modern Art, and the second taking place online on Christie’s website. Available works will be on view at the museum from July 17 through August 2, and available for online bidding beginning July 25. Subscribe to our newsletter to receive updates.

All the works have been generously donated to the museum by artists and galleries in support of the Museum’s artistic and educational programs. To celebrate 45 years since the founding of the Aspen Art Museum by artists, the Museum is inviting artists to retain a percentage of the value of their works.

About ArtWeek

Beginning on July 30, the museum will host an energetic program of performances, talks, and live events that centers timely topics in the field of contemporary art, forges new ground in live events and performance, and celebrates those whose creativity and vision have helped shape culture.
