      The AAM is celebrating the opening of Lost Without Your Rhythm (Galleries 2 & 3) and Elmgreen & Dragset’s It’s Never Too Late to Say Sorry (Crown Commons) on Thursday, November 15, beginning at 5:30 p.m.! Join us for delicious snacks from SO Café, free wine and beer, music, and a complimentary art-making activity for all ages on Level 3.

      At 5:30 p.m., the AAM’s Senior Curator Courtenay Finn and co-curator Lauren Fulton will lead a gallery walkthrough of the new exhibitions.

    • This after-school program for kids in Grades K–4 is held most Wednesdays during the school year at the AAM. Museum educators lead classes that include activities in the gallery and take-home projects.

      Classes are limited to fifteen participants. Prior registration strongly encouraged.

      Active Art: Heritage Park

      Active Art invites seniors to engage in the social dimensions of art. Each month, museum Educators bring free, memory-enhancing activities to the assisted living communities of Whitcomb Terrace in Aspen and Heritage Park in Carbondale.
