Making sure art and creativity are at the heart of your child’s development, this free drop-in program for 0–5 year olds and their caregivers explores fun ways to interact through art.
Active Art invites seniors to engage in the social dimensions of art. Museum educators bring free, memory-enhancing activities to the assisted living community of Heritage Park Care Center in Carbondale.
Story Art is a community outreach program that provides playful exploration of storytelling for young audiences with their parents or caregivers. This free community program builds visual literacy and art appreciation in the Carbondale Branch Library.

This after-school program for kids in Grades K–4 is held most Wednesdays during the school year at the AAM. Museum educators lead classes that include activities in the gallery and take-home projects.
Classes are limited to fifteen participants. Prior registration strongly encouraged.

Are you looking for an intimate, constructive environment to gain new perspectives on your artwork? Adopting art school’s format of group feedback, this program provides a selected group of local artists with valuable insight from a visiting facilitator. This session is facilitated by Andrew Travers, Arts Editor for the Aspen Times, and will focus on the importance of language and being articulate.
