AAM Artist Fellowship

The Aspen Art Museum invites artists from the local community, working in any medium, to apply for the 2019–20 Aspen Art Museum Artist Fellowship. Up to four artists will be selected to participate in this 9-month mentored professional development program.

Participants will have the opportunity to create a project in collaboration with museum staff which reflects their experience of learning from the museum and the fellowship.

The fellowship provides recognition and support for artists living in the counties of Pitkin, Eagle, Garfield, Mesa, Delta, Montrose, Gunnison, Lake, and Chafee. The fellowship is intended to strengthen ties between the museum and artists from the local community. Recipients receive a $1000 honorarium.
