AAM Teen Art Corps Programs are for anyone in grades 9–12 from Aspen to Rifle. Applications accepted from Sep 28–Oct 11. Click here to apply

AAM Teen Council

The Teen Council will host monthly free social events designed by teens, for teens. The Council will meet, plan, and be responsible for all aspects of these events—movies, online mixers and discussions, and group activities centering around cultural and civic exchange. They will learn how to design and execute programs using the museum’s space and resources to expand their purview of what the museum and its offerings can be for them and their peers.

AAM Teen Curators

The Teen Curators program allows participants to gain insight into different styles of curatorial practice. In this brand-new iteration of what has become a signature AAM highlight for teens, each curator will design their own creative project with support from museum staff.

Throughout this six-month program, participants gain insight into different styles of curatorial practice and are empowered to design their own creative project with support from museum staff.

AAM Teen Artists

Teen Artists will meet with and learn from AAM staff, guest artists, and our creative community partners at Anderson Ranch. They will explore and build their art-making skills and present their work to the public in the spring.

For six months, Teen Artists meet every other week for sessions with AAM staff, guest artists, and curators, as well as collaborations with the Anderson Ranch Arts Center. At the end of the year, artists will give a talk to the community about the experience.
