Aspen Art Museum

For her exhibition at the Aspen Art Museum, Los Angeles–based artist Anna Sew Hoy presents a series of new outdoor sculptures created for the museum’s Roof Deck Sculpture Garden. Revealing an exceptional sensitivity to form and texture, Sew Hoy’s sculptures combine found objects with industrial materials and processes. The result is an engrossing study in contrasts, a grouping of objects that are simultaneously organic and synthetic, handmade and manufactured, spontaneous and calculated.
