Join us on Friday, December 19, at 6 p.m., for the opening reception and a free pub­lic walk­through of Gabriel Kuri’s Gabriela and Ramiro Garza Distinguished Artist in Residence exhi­bi­tion, with the artist and AAM Nancy and Bob Magoon CEO and Director Heidi Zuckerman. The evening will also feature the open­ing of Marcel Broodthaers’s exhi­bi­tion Décor: A Conquest—an intri­cate instal­la­tion explor­ing the relationship between con­flict and com­fort, and exam­in­ing the com­plex rela­tion­ship between weapons and objects as symbols of power.
