Mandala Lecture: Geshe Lobsang Tenzin

From July 20–24, Tibetan Buddhist monks from Drepung Loseling Monastery will construct a temporary mandala sand painting on Level 3 of the Aspen Art Museum as part of their annual visit to Aspen. Geshe Lobsang Tenzin, Founder and Spiritual Director of the Drepung Loseling Monastery and Senior Lecturer at Emory University, will present a lecture on the symbolism of the mandala and what to expect during the closing ceremony the following day.
