Weaving Tapestry
Something Natural

Your challenge today is to incorporate something natural! Take a walk outside and gather from your surroundings. You may decide to pick up a small and tender tree branch, lavender stems, or dry leaves—the options are endless!
Supplies:
Organic material (branches, leaves, stems, or grass)
Tune in every Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. (MT) during February to learn how to weave a tapestry! In this four-part series, AAM Educator Vanessa Porras will be guiding you through making beautiful wall art that incorporates something new, something found, and something natural. Together, we’ll explore different weaving techniques and patterns to create a tapestry with diverse textures.
