Book Sculptures
Final Touches

Our paper sculpture is almost done, and all we need to add are the final touches! This Wednesday, we will rummage through our craft box to find what our book sculpture is “asking for,” to complete it—whether that’s color or something to tie it all together.
You’ve heard of pop-up books, but have you heard of book sculptures? Tune in every Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. (MT) during the month of December as AAM Educator Vanessa Porras teaches a four- part, step-by-step series on the many options in creating one! Materials are super-simple, all you really need is a little patience and copious amounts of creativity!
This activity is suited for those old enough to safely work with an X-acto style knife.
