The Burning Man Project and the Aspen Art Museum invite you for a rooftop toast and talk to celebrate Burning Man’s triumphant return to playa and Andy Warhol: Lifetimes at the Aspen Art Museum.
The Aspen Art Museum is now offering a 1 hour tour for groups with advanced reservations.
Tours take place on Fridays at 2 p.m. Registration must be received at least 48 hours in advance of the tour date.

For this month’s Soup Can Saturdays, we will explore Warhol’s portrait painting process from photography to screen printing. Part 1 will focus on Warhol’s portrait process with a Polaroid Big Shot camera. Everyone is encouraged to return for Part 2 where we will screen print the portraits taken during Part 1.

We’ll be featuring cocktails from The Slippery Slope, snacks from the new Rooftop Café, and music from our new winter resident DJ: Golden.

Warhol used repetition and seriality in many of his works. This method highlighted our culture’s obsession with mass production. However, when taking a closer look at the repeating images, we can see how each printed iteration is unique. Come experiment with the mechanical process of repetition by using various images.
