The AAM Teen Council would like to welcome our next guest speaker, Craig Robins!
Craig Robins is an entrepreneur, real estate developer, and art collector based in Miami, Florida. He also created the Miami Design District! If you want to learn how to build your brand and further your career in the art world, this webinar is a must.
Join us today at 2:30 p.m. (MT) and meet local featured artist and AAM Artist Fellow, Wewer Keohane. Get to know Wewer and her book Artful Dreaming, and get a tour of her magnificent art studio!
The Teen Curators program allows participants to gain insight into different styles of curatorial practice. In this brand-new iteration of what has become a signature AAM highlight for teens, each curator will design their own creative project with support from museum staff.
Teen Council meetings happen every other Tuesday from August to May. Through this program led by AAM Educator, Elisabeth Strunk, local teenagers create and implement events for their peers. The Council follows the motto, “For teens, by teens,” to make the Aspen Art Museum a fun place for youth in the Roaring Fork Valley.
Dive into the subconscious with artist Wewer Keohane’s Artful Dreaming. Today at 2:30 p.m. (MT), AAM Educator Vanessa Porras will lead you through a collage-making experience of a dream, a profound awake experience, or a poem to create a visual representation of it. Bring all of your arts and crafts, found materials, and photographs and join us in this unique art-making experience!
Join Teresa Booth Brown on Monday, March 29, 5–6 p.m. (MT) for an Art School Prep session that delves deeper into writing artist statements and admission interview skills that will help you stand out in a crowd.
Please RSVP by emailing education@aspenartmuseum.org.
