As part of the final iteration of the yearlong exhibition Ritual, this intimate offering provides visitors with the opportunity to receive a personalized ritual written with the poet CAConrad. Through the course of an individualized consultation, CAConrad will transform the mundane and chaos of your everyday life into a creative act through a poem unique to each participant.
Free, drop-in spotlight tours led by museum staff are offered every Wednesday and Saturday at 1 p.m.

This after-school program for kids in Grades K–4 is held most Wednesdays during the school year at the AAM. Museum educators lead classes that include activities in the gallery and take-home projects.
Classes are limited to fifteen participants. Prior registration strongly encouraged.
Calling all creative adults: find inspiration from artists and artworks and connect with others! Join one of our museum Educators and a local artist for a spirited conversation and art-making techniques that bring the art on view to life. This free, new program starts with a nontraditional tour of a current exhibition and ends with an imaginative mixer.
The AAM tailors special visits and workshops for homeschool families and programs in the Roaring Fork Valley. Each workshop provides an opportunity for parents and children to learn about contemporary art while creating a work of art together as a family. Parents also learn techniques and skills for creating their own art experiences at home.
Artists in the Making offers middle school students the opportunity to develop specialized skills driven by self-innovation. A museum Educator works with each student to create a uniquely tailored experience that concludes with a celebratory showcase for friends and family.
Monthly drop-in Family Workshops at the AAM are designed to provide children and adults free opportunities to explore the galleries and create works of art on their own. Families are encouraged to communicate, reflect, and produce as artists together.
Free, drop-in spotlight tours led by museum staff are offered every Wednesday and Saturday at 1 p.m.
