      Guided Tour

      Free, drop-in spotlight tours led by museum staff are offered every Wednesday and Saturday at 1 p.m.

    • This after-school program for kids in Grades K–4 is held most Wednesdays during the school year at the AAM. Museum educators lead classes that include activities in the gallery and take-home projects.

      Classes are limited to fifteen participants. Prior registration strongly encouraged.

    • Artists in the Making is an eight-week program that offers middle school students in Aspen and Basalt the opportunity to develop specialized skills driven by self-innovation. Community experts who visit select sessions and mentor students work in tandem with an AAM Educator to create a uniquely tailored experience that concludes with a celebratory showcase for friends and family. Spring theme: Design Thinking

      Wikipedia Edit-a-Thon

      Join museums and universities across the country to edit, enhance, and add Wikipedia entries on female figures in the art world. Bring your laptop to Level 3 between 11AM–3PM and receive tutorials from museum staff on the editorial process. Childcare and refreshments will be provided in this free, community-organized event that is presented in association with Art+Feminism’s international campaign to make Wikipedia more gender balanced.
