Aspen Art Museum

Let art and spectacular views elevate your experience of music. Presented in collaboration with the Aspen Music Festival and School (AMFS), this free chamber concert series takes place this summer in the Roof Deck Sculpture Garden, featuring one-hour performances by the most advanced AMFS students and visiting musicians in Aspen.

Free, drop-in spotlight tours led by museum staff are offered every Wednesday and Saturdays at 1 p.m.

Set in South Central Los Angeles, this saga follows the transition from boyhood to manhood, and the many dangers and diversions that can interrupt that journey. In its remarkable climactic scenes, Singleton memorably dramatizes how a single, heat-of-the-moment decision can torpedo an entire life—or save it.

Held once a month from 10:30–11:30 a.m., these free community workshops provide playful exploration of storytelling for young audiences with their parents or caregivers. A special June session will be held with Active Art participants. This level of Art Studio is offered free of charge and is first come, first served.
