Open-Mic Night

Mar 20, 2015
6:00 PM

Calling all high school students…are you a musician, poet, comedian, or performer? Take to the stage to share your talent!

Hosted by the Young Curators of the Roaring Fork in celebration of their exhibition RAW, this Open-Mic Night supports teens to express their artistic voice with their peers.

Free refreshments, activities, and a raffle are provided.

To sign up: Email education@aspenartmuseum.org with your name, age, high school, and a description of your five-minute act to reserve a space. A sign-up table will also available at the museum on March 20 from 5:30–7:30 p.m.

Performers are responsible for bringing all required equipment, as the museum will only provide a microphone and speakers. The AAM reserves the right to determine the final program, and all confirmed performers will receive an email from the AAM Education Department.

To attend: This event is free and open to the public. Grab a seat by 6 p.m. in the Aspen Art Museum’s Roof Deck Sculpture Garden.

The YCRF exhibition RAW is on view at the Aspen Art Museum from March 15–29, 2015.

AAM education programs are made possible by the Questrom Education Fund.
