The Editor is responsible for editing and coordinating all written content for the museum’s publications, print materials, and digital platforms. This includes, but is not limited to, exhibition catalogues and brochures, didactic and marketing materials, education resources, printed office materials, and online content. The Editor works with the print production team as well as the senior staff to set priorities, procedures, schedules, and budgets for the generation of content.
This is a salaried position that generally requires availability Monday through Friday with an occasional weekend, evening, and holiday work. The Editor position is exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act and does not receive overtime pay for hours worked in excess of forty in a seven-day work week.
