The AAM is actively soliciting donations to support our new building project, which will be achieved with 100% private funding. The AAM Board of Trustees unanimously approved a campaign goal of $50,000,000 to serve this purpose.

 

$30,000,000 will directly support the construction of the new facility including the purchase of the land, all hard and soft construction costs, and all related construction and campaign expenses.

 

$20,000,000 will be raised in the form of contributions to the AAM Foundation—the museum’s permanently restricted endowment fund.

 

These endowments will ensure that future operations of the new and expanded facility are fully funded and sustainable.

 

To date the Capital and Endowment Campaign has secured nearly $35,000,000 in binding pledges toward achieving these goals.
