Architecture Lecture Series: Tatiana Bilbao

Sep 9, 2014
6:00 PM
637 E. Hyman Ave

Tatiana Bilbao first began working for Mexico City’s Ministry of Urban and Housing Development, and continued on to found her own design studio, Tatiana Bilbao SC. TBSC’s major public projects include a rehabilitation of Culiacán’s botanical gardens that introduces contemporary art by Olafur Eliasson and James Turrell, as well as collaborative work in the Jalisco Mountains to revive the economies of small rural communities.

The AAM’s Architecture Lecture Series brings world-renowned architects to Aspen to discuss the role of public architecture in our society and how its form, style, and purpose impact our engineered landscapes. As a series of free public presentations, the ALS sparks dialogue about the role of architecture in our community and beyond.

AAM education programs are made possible by the Questrom Education Fund.
